To all Capstone Students,

The next milestone for Senior Capstone is the Project Status Presentation on February 17, 2016.  This is a formal presentation to sponsors, liaisons, Design Advisory Board members, Faculty advisors and fellow students. There is no written report required from your team until the end of the semester.

See ‘Presentation Schedule 2/17 in the Project Status Presentation February tab under Events and/or in the Schedule of Presentations Feb 17, 2016 tab for times and locations.  You should be in the room where you are presenting at least 15 minutes ahead of your presentation.  Your team will have a total of 20 minutes to make a presentation to the Design Advisory Board and your sponsor or liaison.  This is a formal presentation and you should dress in business casual or business attire.  Please work on your presentation so you are confident that you will be finished in less than 20 minutes.  The Design Advisory Board will then have a few minutes to ask you questions or make suggestions and then complete your evaluation form.

Reviewing the evaluation form is recommended so you will know what you are being judged on.  You can find the evaluation form in the ‘Evaluation Forms’ section.  It is titled ‘Project Plan Oral Evaluation 2-17'.  Please note that you will be evaluated on your engineering concepts and your oral  presentation skills.

You must also attend the presentations of all other teams in the room where you are presenting and you must complete an evaluation for each team.  You will be in the room from 3:10pm until all presentations are completed. If you need to meet with your advisor prior to your presentation, please do so prior to 3:10pm. Hard copies of the Student evaluation forms  will be available for you in the room, please leave them in the completed student evals folder.

Please let me know if you have any questions.   ToniBoggan, Academic Director
